Backyard Movies

Thanks to a really good friend of mine who loaned us his projector, we were able to have another backyard movie for this forth of July. Since our yard is so accommodating we have been thinking of doing something like this on a semi-regular basis. Since it takes some effort to put something like this together I'd first like to know if people are willing to come to a backyard movie. If you are interested in doing something like this then let us know.

Here's what the 4th look like last year at our house. This was a video that I sent to my buddy that loaned us the projector. The kids were watching Enchanted while the city fireworks were going off down the road at the high school. You could see the city fireworks really well from our backyard too as the video shows. Once again the quality of the video isn't great because its from my cell phone.

BANZAI!!!!!

We decided to get a Banzai slide in stead of Lagoon passes this year. This was the inaugural inflation of the slide.

The video quality isn't that great because it was off of my cell phone but it is still funny.



When Sophia learned that we got a water slide and that they boys will be spending the summer outside on it, her face just lit up with excitement. This is her relishing the thought of all her new found quite time.

Simple Men

This is a great song. I like this version in particular. I just thought that I'd share it with you. I hope that my boys turn out to be simple men.
