So we are a perfect 3 for 3 on having children in the
NICU (Newborn Intensive Care Unit). All of which have stayed a week or more in there. Our latest
arrival Sophia, is currently enjoying her stay there. Her
arrival was the result an unexpected series of events. First off, Andrea was in a serious car accident that totalled our new car.

She was hospitalized, released, then
hospitalized again. Then finally on Valentines Day Sophia was born via c-section.

She is a "strong" little stinker. So strong in fact, that she perforated her own lung breathing too hard to get oxygen. She then had to be placed back on the ventilator and have a chest tube put in to help
re-inflate her collapsed lung as a result of the perforation. Fortunately that has all healed and the chest tube has been removed. We are now awaiting for her to gain enough
strength to consistently eat from a bottle in order to bring her home.

Thank you to everyone who has helped us and offered to help us during this difficult time. We truly appreciate it.
Thank you.
